Beginner | Ages 16+
The Ribeiro Beginner jiu jitsu classes are designed to teach students the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu and provides a solid foundation upon which the more advanced techniques can be built. At age 16 kids can leave the teen program and begin learning as adults.
Fundamentals
After four-month’s of jiu jitsu classes, students develop the physical and mental skills necessary to successfully apply Ribeiro Jiu Jitsu techniques that could literally save their lives during a real confrontation. Along with learning practical self-defense skills, students will discover huge improvements in life quality, self-steam, discipline and health – the benefits of which will last a lifetime. Upon finishing this four-month course you can advance to the Ribeiro Beginner class and be ready for bigger challenges.
Advanced - Grey belt and above
When a grey belt is awarded to the student, he/she is invited to attend the adult advanced jiu jitsu classes. The fundamentals of the beginner class serve as a springboard to the more complicated techniques of the Ribeiro Advanced class. The sparring is more challenging because the advanced students have more experience in class and in tournaments. Upon acceptance into the advanced class, the student begins to expand the breadth of knowledge of Jiu-Jitsu.
Private LessonsPrivate instruction is a great supplement to the training you have received in your group lessons. With private lessons, you will progress faster than by taking group lessons alone. The personalized attention and energy of an instructor during a private lesson can be a tremendous advantage.
During the one-hour private lesson, you can choose what areas to focus on. You can ask Eduardo Rocha about techniques. |
